Fate: A story by Jeremy
About 5 months ago, I was listening to KWOD, and heard this song I enjoyed, wrote the name of the song on a scrap of paper, but there was no mention of the band, but it was kind of soft and orchestral, like Oasis, or Coldplay,(usually not a style I'm fond of, but the message in the song was interesting). I lost the paper. My memory is a sieve, so I couldn't even remember the songs name. These are the hangnail of life, and this type of thing drives me crazy. I attempted to search for lyrics online, nothing. Last weekend Stasi went to the Chili Pepper's 20 year anniversary concert. The Flaming Lips opened for them, famous for the Don't Use Jelly song. When she came home, she asked me to download two songs from them that she heard from the concert, one she enjoyed, one she thought I would. Lo and behold, the one she enjoyed was the one I had been looking for the last few months. Sometimes it seems like me and Stasi get our wires crossed, and we transmit on the same frequency, that is one of the reasons I love her so.
